It was Wednesday. Friday began the 4th of July weekend. I received notification from a supplier that my parts were ready for pickup. This is when the decision was made to open a business on my cellphone selling these parts. This is when the decision to be up and running within 24 hours was set. This is when the decision was made to have a grand opening and holiday sale by and during the 4th of July weekend '21.
It was now Thursday evening rolling around 11pm. Employer identification numbers have been requested and obtained. The ability to do business and collect state sales tax was complete. The website and online store have been setup and in place. Stickers in hand, packaging materials in house. Eyes now crossed and with sore fingers, I was ready. CTI was ready.
As for the parts, they began as ideas I had to fill my needs for Rear Hydraulic Brakes and headlight & hood conversions for my 1stgeneration Blaster. People liked them and were surprisingly very interested. The need for other parts were obvious. One by one, more and more parts went through developmental stages and offered up @ cronetec.com.
Today, more than six months later, CTI is doing well. The ideas keep coming and the birth of new and continued parts carry on.
